There is no doubt that our original inspiration for this Coltrane design belt came from the classic look of a wingtip shoe. Over the years we came up with multiple iterations of this design before putting it into cold storage for a while. This season is it back in a new Sporty guise that is in keeping with the whole athleisure/sporty aesthetic. We've taken a soft, tactile pebble grain leather and layered it over a contrast tone suede. The 2 different leathers blend together perfectly and are further embellished by the contrast stitching detail which varies in both tone and thickness along both the edges and inner detail. The finishing touch is the matching contrast edge painting! I would pair this belt with a fairly simple buckle, the belt has enough going on not to need anything fancy, but if you feel like it a sculptural shape would work well or perhaps a buckle with some texture would be nice to pick up on the mottled edge leather. The end result is a belt that is eminently stylish and really versatile to wear. Pair it with denim of course, chinos, shorts...basically whenever you are wearing trainers/sneakers. A belt that will always show your attention to detail and desire to stand out from the crowd.
